Hey, great questions! To answer the first question you can use Alexa and Google Home on your smartphone, you don’t need a voice assistant in particular.

With the second question, you can just remotely record the audio from the session using some sort of video calling software.

Also one of the other ways to do it is one of the students could be the Alexa/Google Home and then the participant speaks to you and you follow a scripted response.

This would be good to see if the conversation is natural and also means you don’t spend loads of time creating a voice app that isn’t programmed correctly for the responses.
